Ornithologist “Rings” 32 Different Species of Birds in just 2 and a half Days!

files/Malachite Kingfisher.jpg

Here is the list of birds that Malcolm Wilson and Mark Blythman carefully caught, identified, measured and ringed (a small metal ring is put on their leg with a unique identity) before being released. Malcolm’s trip was funded by the Quirimbas National Park and WWF Mozambique (www.wwf.org.mz) who are both researching what birds are found in the Park as well as training local bird guides.
