Last week 77 local students from the Guludo area started a new school year at one of 2 Secondary Boarding Schools with Nema Scholarships. An additional 2 Guludo students, Assane and Ide (pictured above), who also had Nema scholarshipsin 2007 and 2008, have made thier families extremely proud and have started 11th year at a different school. Riquito, who may have served some of you gin and tonics at the Guludo bar, is awaiting his exam results to be accepted into teacher training college which will also be sponsored by Nema Foundation.
It costs just £60 to send a child to secondary school for a year, including full board, school fees, travel and books. If you can help, please, please follow the link below and make a donation.
