Clean Water and Musical Tip Taps

files/Child with WP.JPG

Our sister charity, Nema, has just finished rehabilitating 12 more water points in Nambo, Messano, Muituro, Runho, Nambija, Nacutuco, Manica, Naunde and Lumamua villages and clean, safe water is now flowing.

The Nema team are now getting ready for a 6-day water workshop taking place next week. The workshop will train local ‘water committees’ how to maintain and repair their wells when they fall into disrepair. Every village has a water committee, and we’ve invited 6 members from 8 villages to attend, as well as local government and village leaders. HUGE thank you to Global Angels for making this possible.

Along the water project the Nema team have been running hygiene and sanitation workshops where Manuel’s been demonstrating "Tip Taps". So far he’s reached 432 households (about 2,160 people). This is a great video for showing how simple and effective the Tip Tap is… and is guaranteed to make you smile!
