Nema Video

In May 2009 Rohan Tully came to Guludo to make a film of some of the projects that Global Angels have raised funds for. Here are the projects that have been showcased in the film:

  • School Feeding: providing school children with a nutritious school meal every school day
  • Water: repairing existing water points, building new points and improving the safety of water
  • Malaria: running workshops and distributing mosquito nets
  • Nutrition: teaching mothers about the nutritional value of food and how to make a life-saving porridge
  • HIV: drama performances and workshops
  • School Farm: growing crops to be sold to supplement the school meals and teach improved agriculture techniques
  • Primary School construction: building primary school(s)
  • Hygiene and Sanitation: workshops explaining how to stop the spread of diseases and treat diarrhoea

If you would like to get involved in helping Nema expand these project to reach more families then have a look at the Nema section of our blog for up to date information or you can go directly to http://www.globalangels.org/fundraiser/Guludo/ to make a donation.

An ENORMOUS thank you to Global Angels for their incredible ongoing support and also to Rohan for giving up such a huge amount of his time to both film and edit the films.

How to Help

Nema has achieved a phenomenal amount in a relatively short time which is entirely down to the support we have received from past guests, friends and family.
