Here African time has been uppermost, with religious festivals taking place, beach dancing, river trips on dhows, sport on sand banks, visits to Ibo Island and delightful village trips where mingling with such lovely people completed a tremendous visit to Guludo.Michael & DD Kingscote (Outposts.co.uk)

We have had a superb time at Guludo, a fascinating 4 days. We have been surprised by the design and feel of the place, and the lovely people who look after you. We adore the village auto didact Kung-Fu-master-come-silver- service-waiter Combo, and the smiling, obliging Cheia, who also happens to be a mean footballer and has great dimples when he smiles...which is all the time!

Loved the food and relaxation - compliments to Ana, enjoyed the company of all at Guludo and the EXTRAORDINARY DIVE WITH THE 3 HUMPBACK WHALES!

Tickled pink that we managed a game of football against the Guludo village team with a crowd of hundreds if not thousands of villagers watching and collapsing in laughter at soft westerners falling flat on their faces in the sand as the villagers strolled to a 2-0 victory. Great Fun.Nick & Natacha
