Guludo Beach Lodge has been Highly Commended for the second year in the row in the 2007 Responsible Tourism Awards in the category of Best for Poverty Reduction. The Awards are the largest of their kind in the world and were presented on 15th November at the World Travel Market. [more]

May 2006 Amy Carter (co-founder) was awarded the New Statesman "Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2006" which she received from Ed Milliband, UK Minister for the Third Sector. [more]. Amy was also one of three finalists in the 2007 "Women in Ethical Business Awards".

December 2005 our architects Cullum & Nightingale won an Award for their design of Guludo Beach Lodge at the British International Expertise Awards. [more]
