The new school will provide
- Houses for additional female teachers
- 7 classrooms
- A library
- A playground
- A daily meal for each child
The current primary school has 2 classrooms (no furniture), 2 teachers & 5 year groups.
The new school will have 7 classrooms catering for all 7 years of primary school, a library, playground, small farm and, with the help of Global Angels will continue to provide every child a meal a day. Once this project is established in Guludo it will be replicated in the surrounding villages improving the lives of thousands of children.
Progress so far..
The school and community centre are scheduled to marked out at the beginning of February and construction start at the end of February 2007. The target opening date is June 2007.If you can help with either funding or with technical assistance please contact us or send us an email.
